Job summary

InHealth is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join the Endoscopy team at our Witney site. You will support the delivery of patient care across the endoscopy pathway, helping to ensure every patient receives outstanding care throughout their journey.

The role is full-time, four days per week from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with weekend rota requirements. You will work with the nursing team to maintain clear communication, uphold privacy, dignity and safety, and contribute to a positive

Qualifications

• Experience in care, healthcare, or patient-facing environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety and infection prevention/control practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility to participate in a weekend rota.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the clinic in a warm, professional, and reassuring manner.
• Acting as a patient advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity and wellbeing.
• Supporting the clinical team by cleaning, monitoring, and maintaining equipment, reporting faults or concerns promptly.
• Recording and communicating relevant patient information and observations to senior colleagues.
• Delivering care in line with individual patient care plans under nursing guidance.
• Building positive relationships with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while delivering patient-centred care.
