A vacancy has arisen within the Endoscopy Department for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, working within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, and enjoy working within a busy, friendly small team. Cross-site working may sometimes be required.
The core responsibility of this role is to ensure a compliant decontamination process, including manual and automated cleaning, disinfection, and storage of flexible endoscopes.
The department primarily operates from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential extension to 8 pm. Occasional weekend work (Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm) may be required, and flexibility during these hours is essential.
The duties of this position include completing a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
