Qualifications

• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Willingness to participate in a two‑week rotating shift pattern (8am–4pm, 11am–7pm) and alternate weekends.
• Able to complete required training and work within an ISO‑accredited quality system.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, sorting and preparing of reusable medical devices including endoscopes for cleaning and disinfection.
• Inspection, re‑assembly, function testing, packaging, sealing and labelling of devices after washing and disinfection.
• Carry out independent checking of instrument trays and report discrepancies.
• Maintain awareness of instrument types and scopes to identify inspection and test points.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure devices are correctly decontaminated and safe for patient use.
