Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Endoscopy Support Worker to join the BCSP pathway team. You will assist clinical staff during bowel scope examinations, prepare rooms, handle specimens, and ensure infection control standards are met.

• Undertake a recognised course as determined by NHS Cancer Screening Programme.

• Work unsupervised and capture clinical information accurately.

• Assist during bowel scope examinations and prepare rooms.
• Maintain infection control and keep equipment clean.
• Input data into BCSS and progress patient pathway.
