Job summary

Highland Spring Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Engineering team and own a varied portfolio of engineering, CAPEX and improvement projects across the business.

This hands-on project delivery role will manage projects from initial concept and scope development right through to installation, commissioning and handover, coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing and other teams to turn opportunities into practical, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Ownership of project delivery from concept to handover
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships

Responsibilities

• Leading CAPEX projects from concept through to completion
• Developing project scopes, plans, programmes, budgets and resource requirements
• Supporting the development and justification of capital investment proposals
• Managing design, procurement, installation, commissioning and effective handover
• Controlling project expenditure, forecasts, risks, issues and changes
• Coordinating suppliers and contractors, from quotation and technical specification through to site delivery
• Working closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to develop practical, maintainable solutions while minimising operational disruption
• Planning and coordinating shutdowns, overhauls and other engineering activity
• Providing clear project updates and influencing cross-functional project teams
• Driving continuous improvement and ensuring new assets are successfully transitioned into operational and maintenance ownership
