Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is partnering with a well-established construction business to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator in Leeds. You will own the end-to-end, 4-weekly payroll cycle and provide clear payroll guidance to staff, managers and HR across a busy operation.

The role requires solid payroll administration experience, proficiency with Sage Payroll, and the ability to handle high-volume processing, data validation and HMRC updates.

Qualifications

• Solid payroll administration experience.
• Experience processing high-volume payrolls.
• Experience managing a 4-weekly payroll cycle.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll across a 4-weekly cycle.
• Data entry & validation for starters, leavers, changes and sickness.
• System processing using Sage Payroll and associated platforms.
• HMRC updates including tax codes and statutory changes.
• Manual calculations and payroll reporting production.
• Third-party payments including AOE and CSA deductions.
• Pension administration and timely submissions.
• Employee support with clear payroll guidance.
• Compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Cross-department collaboration with HR and management.
