Job summary
Reevr Talent Ltd is partnering with a UK manufacturer to recruit an experienced Design Engineer for product development. You will take designs from concept to prototype and through production, working with engineering and manufacturing specialists to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required is a degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in design, and strong expertise in injection moulding, tolerance analysis and practical problem-solving; CFD/FEA is advantageous.
Qualifications
- A degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in design engineering.
- Strong mechanical design knowledge and manufacturing awareness.
- Experience with injection moulding design.
- Experience taking products from concept to manufacture.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver design projects from concept through production.
- Design products focusing on performance, quality and manufacturability.
- Develop prototypes to validate concepts and iterate designs.
- Produce technical documentation and design reviews for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams across the lifecycle.
