Job summary

ReeVR Talent represents an established engineering business seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work across the full product development lifecycle from concept to production. The role combines mechanical and electro-mechanical design, prototyping, testing and project management, offering ownership of projects and direct involvement in manufacturing-ready designs.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5+ years in a manufacturing environment and strong CAD/DFM skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5+ years in mechanical design in manufacturing or product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD).
• Experience with FEA, tolerance analysis and engineering calculations.
• Experience with BOMs, engineering documentation, and ECRs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical products from concept to production.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis and FEA.
• Manage BOMs, specs and documentation.
• Support concept generation, design reviews and tests.
• Lead multiple projects with schedules, risks and deliverables.
