Job summary

Hudson Shribman is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a manufacturing leadership role in Cambridgeshire. The role involves managing multiple projects from sales handover through design, manufacturing, FAT, installation and commissioning. Occasional UK overnight stays and possible international travel are expected.

Primarily office-based with some site visits. You will oversee projects in equipment manufacturing, ensuring milestones are met and the project remains on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar project engineering role within a process/manufacturing environment (food industry preferred).
• Strong communication skills across all business levels are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook/Excel/Word and project tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and agree project scope with customers and the sales team.
• Develop and manage project schedules and documentation (Gantt charts, BOMs, P&IDs).
• Coordinate delivery, installation, commissioning, FAT/PDI and handover to customers.
