Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electronics Engineer to own hardware from initial design through PCB manufacture, bring-up, testing and iteration. You will handle complete hardware pieces and rapidly see results from your work.

The role covers the full lifecycle: mixed-signal design, PCB layout, component selection, high-resolution ADCs/DACs, board bring-up, and hardware validation. On-site in Bristol, with strong ownership of hardware outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronics design experience across the full lifecycle.
• Mixed-signal and analogue capability.
• Low-noise/precision electronics experience.
• Strong PCB design and layout skills.
• Experience taking boards through manufacture, bring-up and testing.
• Practical laboratory & hardware debugging skills.
• Experience with embedded C and/or Python for hardware bring-up, testing or automation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complete hardware pieces from design to final validation.
• Work across the full electronics development lifecycle.
• Support hardware bring-up with embedded C and Python.
• Design mixed-signal circuits and precision analogue stages.
• Lead board fabrication, test, and data analysis.
