Job summary

Stepping Stone Projects is seeking a Supported Housing Worker to support 16-25-year-olds within the Central Lancashire Dispersed Housing Service, based in Preston. This part-time role covers Preston, Leyland, Chorley and Morecambe, with 18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable young people or adults facing adversity.
• Ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries.
• Experience supporting individuals who may have experienced trauma, adversity, or instability.
• Holds, or is willing to work towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with young people.
• Provide tailored support to help individuals achieve goals.
• Manage and monitor supported accommodation placements.
• Advocate on behalf of young people and work closely with partner agencies.
