Job summary

Response is seeking a compassionate Wellbeing Youth Worker to support young people aged 11 to 25 with their mental health and wellbeing across West Berkshire. The role involves one-to-one support, group programmes, and collaboration with schools, CAMHS, social care teams and community partners.

You’ll build trusted relationships, develop personalised support plans, and help young people access education, training and employment opportunities while maintaining records and contributing to impact

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people, families or carers in youth work, education or community settings.
• Evidence of supporting mental health and wellbeing needs in young people.
• Knowledge of person-centred approaches and personalised support planning.
• Ability to work with multi-agency teams and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one wellbeing support for young people aged 11 to 25.
• Facilitating group programmes, drop-ins and alternative provision sessions.
• Supporting parents, carers and families to understand wellbeing challenges.
• Managing a caseload and developing personalised support plans.
• Delivering social prescribing and signposting to community services.
• Supporting access to education, employment and training opportunities.
