Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
  • Assist with the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
  • Work with individuals or small groups, including during trips and special activities.
  • Implement specialist programmes alongside professionals such as therapists.
  • Provide personal care where required, including feeding and intimate care.
  • Support behaviour management and contribute to positive learning environments.
  • Prepare classroom resources and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote effective communication between school and home.
