Job summary

Outcomes First Group is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs at Underley Garden School. You will work with teachers and pastoral teams to support personal, social and academic development within a 24-hour curriculum.

The role requires compassion, resilience and the ability to build trusting relationships with students. A full driving licence is requested and DBS checks will be completed. Permanent, term-time only with a January 2027 start.

• Willingness to support all aspects of school life, including personal care and enrichment activities.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and provide pastoral guidance to promote wellbeing and independence.
• Encourage positive behaviour and apply safeguarding policies.
• Assist with out-of-school learning, trips, events and enrichment activities.
• Help monitor and record progress, contribute to assessment and student paperwork.
