Monarch Education in Worcester is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary pupils in an Alternative Provision. Start date ASAP, full-time, temporary to permanent, with a rewarding role helping children who need extra support to thrive.

You'll work 1:1 and in small groups, build positive relationships, assist with academic and emotional development, and collaborate with teachers, SEND professionals and pastoral teams to create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualificações

• Has previous experience working with children or young people
• Has experience within a school, care, youth work or support setting
• Is resilient, patient and confident managing challenging behaviour
• Builds strong professional relationships with pupils
• Can remain calm under pressure
• Has excellent communication skills
• Is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
• Desirable experience in SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRUs, Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant roles

Responsabilidades

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
• Supporting students both academically and emotionally
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Helping pupils engage with learning and achieve their individual goals
• Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams and SEND professionals
• Using behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
• Acting as a positive role model and advocate for young people
• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
