Job summary

The Oldham Academy North is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support students and teachers across lessons, helping individuals and small groups reach their full potential. You will contribute to an inclusive, positive learning environment and support behaviour and education plans where required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Knowledge of how children learn and the ability to motivate and engage pupils.
• Experience supporting individuals or small groups in learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning activities for individuals and small groups of students.
• Promote pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Assist with individual education and behaviour plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and wider academy staff.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
