Job summary

Value Education LTD is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join Rochdale area schools across primary and secondary settings. This role offers both full-time and part-time arrangements, with competitive rates of pay (£100-£110 per day depending on experience).

You will support teachers to assist learning, development and pupil wellbeing, including 1:1 and small-group support, SEND assistance, and resources preparation, in inclusive environments. Experience with safeguarding is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in educational settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning programmes.
• Support pupils with SEND and learning needs.
• Help develop pupil confidence, independence and social skills.
• Maintain records of pupil progress.
• Prepare learning resources.
• Collaborate with teachers to create positive learning environments.
