Job summary

Protocol Education are seeking flexible Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Bradford and surrounding areas from Pudsey in West Yorkshire. The role involves assisting teachers, supporting individual pupils and groups, and helping create an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children or young people, strong communication skills and a patient, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, coaching or support setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, patient and proactive approach
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and participation
• Supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required
• Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
• Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
