Job summary

Real Life Options is recruiting for a Support Worker in the Cupar area. This role offers part-time (35 hours) and relief positions with shifts including day and night patterns.

You will support individuals to live independently with dignity, choice and inclusion, and help with daily routines, personal care and community activities. Full training and ongoing support are provided; previous care experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills and compassionate approach are important.
• Demonstrates reliability, flexibility and willingness to learn.
• Respect for individuals and their choices is essential.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and dignity in care.
• Training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily routines and planning for individuals.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management.
• Provide personal care and emotional support.
• Help with household tasks and domestic duties.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor wellbeing.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities.
