Standby24 is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist individuals with mental health, learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in Hertfordshire. This full-time role involves day and waking-night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays as required, with a focus on person-centred care.

The role requires resilience, organisation and a passion for supporting individuals to achieve greater independence, while adhering to care plans and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health and/or learning disability services.
• Familiarity with autism spectrum disorder and complex needs.
• Ability to support individuals with behaviours that may challenge.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals, building trust.
• Deliver support in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Promote positive behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches.
