Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
• Professional registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of assessed care and support with dignity and autonomy.
• Engage individuals in decision-making and promote independence.
• Manage challenging behaviours in a calm, supportive manner.
• Encourage participation in social activities and community engagement.
• Contribute to care planning, attend meetings, and participate in care reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect vulnerable adults.
