Mirus in Gorseinon, Swansea, is hiring a full-time female support worker to help people live good lives, build relationships, and participate in their community. You will support daily activities, independence, and wellbeing while promoting choice.

The role requires a full UK driving license; benefits include funded QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care, 45p per mile travel, comprehensive training, Cycle to Work, DBS paid by Mirus, and holiday entitlement of 20 days plus 8 bank holidays, increasing

Formación

• Full UK driving license required.
• Patient and able to build positive relationships.
• Experience or ability to support people with learning disabilities or mental ill-health.

Responsabilidades

• Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live well.
• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal prep, personal care, and routines.
• Encourage relationships with family, friends and the community.
• Collaborate with social workers, nurses and occupational therapists to provide best support.
• Listen to the people supported and help them make choices about their lives.
