Job summary

Saracen Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help empower adults with learning disabilities or autism to live their best life. You will support daily living, community access, and personal care within a patient, person-centered approach.

The role offers contracted hours with regular rota, comprehensive training, and a supportive team. Sleep-in shifts are paid at £80, with a pay banding of £13.35 per hour for experienced candidates. Gloucestershire location, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or autism.
• Ability to provide emotional and practical support in daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support during daily activities and community access.
• Assist with domestic duties and household management.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Motivate and engage individuals through positive interactions.
• Promote choice and independence toward personal goals.
• Keep accurate records according to policies and guidelines.
• Support safeguarding and wellbeing of all individuals, following recruitment guidance.
