Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Support Worker (Female) in West Bromwich to provide person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will help with daily living, promote independence and join a team delivering high-quality care.

Role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. DBS clearance is paid for by CareTech, with ongoing training and progression opportunities offered across our services.

Qualifications

• We are seeking caring, patient and respectful individuals.
• Good communication skills are important for this role.
• Willingness to work towards Health & Social Care qualification.
• Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support as per individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
