Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker (Female) for West Bromwich. The role supports adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in a residential service, offering a stable, person-centred environment and clear career progression.

You will work on a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, delivering tailored support and maintaining records within a supportive team. DBS check is required; enhanced disclosure paid by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Health & Social care qualification.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• DBS required (paid for by employer)

Salary £12.79 per hour
Permanent | Full -Time Contract | 36hours per week

About the Service – New Street North

New Street North is a registered residential care service, supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The service promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person-centred support.

Service User Interests

• Arts and crafts
• Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
• Holidays and short breaks
• Walks in the local park and community
• Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
