Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking caring Social Care Workers to support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and participate in their local community. The role focuses on person-centered support and promoting privacy, dignity and rights, with a driving licence essential for using the post holder’s own vehicle to access activities and appointments.

Applicants should be able to achieve Level 2 or 3 Health and Social Care qualifications, work flexible shifts

Qualifications

• The ability to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
• An understanding of the principles of a quality care environment: privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
