Job summary

Care & Independence is seeking carers to provide compassionate support to individuals in their own homes in Wales. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, medication administration, and facilitating community access for shopping and leisure activities.

Applicants should have a valid UK driving licence and be willing to work weekends on a rota basis; full training will be provided. Prior experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid UK driving licence.
• Experience would be an advantage, but training will be given.
• Ability to work weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal hygiene, assisting with washing and bathing.
• Mobility support, transferring, use of hoists (full training provided).
• Meal preparation and household tasks, ensuring nutritious and balanced meals in a clean, safe environment.
• Medication administration and support (full training given).
• Community access: assisting with shopping and leisure activities.
