Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Merthyr Tydfil to provide person-centred support for adults with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities and brain injuries. You will be involved in day-to-day routines, promoting independence and wellbeing within a supportive team.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and flexibility; 18+; driving and experience may affect eligibility. Benefits include competitive pay and induction, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Dependent on qualifications and experience.
• Applicants must be over 18 due to the vulnerable nature of the people supported.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
