Supply Heroes Ltd. is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Sparkhill, Birmingham (B11). The role is full-time and long-term with an immediate start, supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning.

The successful candidate will deliver 1:1 and small group support, assist with EHCP targets, and help foster emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence in pupils.

Qualifications

• Previous SEND experience preferred.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Patient, caring and supportive approach.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND.
• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs and other learning needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive learning activities.
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence.
• Implement EHCP targets and individual support strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
