Job summary

Connex Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to join a school in Llanelli. The role involves supporting learners with ALN/SEMH needs across all Key Stages and assisting with a broad range of curriculum activities to promote engagement and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND/ALN or SEMH is advantageous.
• DBS for Child and Adult on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support learners across all Key Stages with a range of curriculum activities.
• Encourage pupils to engage in enriching, hands-on experiences.
• Provide consistent support while challenging learners appropriately to foster progress.
• Work in a SEND school environment and collaborate with teaching staff.
