Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants in Cardiff to support learners with a range of needs in a SEND school. The role involves assisting across Key Stages, facilitating hands-on activities, and helping pupils engage with the curriculum.

Ideal candidates have experience in mainstream education or care/support roles, with a DBS check and EWC registration preferred. Immediate start possible with correct documentation. Long-term roles available.

Qualifications

• Experience with ALN/SEMH is advantageous.
• Willing to start immediately with the correct documentation.
• Suitable for those from mainstream education or care/support backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support learners across all Key Stages in a SEND setting.
• Assist with a wide range of curriculum activities and hands-on learning.
• Encourage pupil engagement and foster personal development.
• Provide consistent support while challenging learners appropriately.
