Job summary

Water Lane Primary Academy seeks a dedicated Special Education Needs Learning Support Assistant to assist in a busy primary classroom and support children with SEND and EHCPs. The role emphasizes teamwork with teachers, safeguarding, and a proactive, caring approach.

Candidates should have at least one year of SEND experience in a primary setting, a Level 2 Play Work/Childcare qualification, and knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Paediatric first aid is desirable.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience working with SEND children in the primary age range.
• Experience in a busy school environment.
• Understanding of children with SEN needs.
