Job summary

Senploy is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs in a secondary school in Bury, Manchester. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping with academic, social and emotional development, and work closely with teachers and the SEN team.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Is patient, understanding and adaptable.
• Has strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Strong knowledge across the Secondary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with additional needs.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider SEN team.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Adapt support to meet individual student needs.
