Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. You will work with students who need extra help to access the curriculum and thrive in a supportive classroom environment.

You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to implement strategies, support inclusive practices, and promote safeguarding. A rewarding role with ongoing training and potential long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN in schools or similar settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teachers.
• Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or small group support for SEN students.
• Implement EHCP strategies and guidance from the SENCO.
• Assist teaching staff with adapting learning activities.
• Support positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care or mobility where needed.
