Job summary

Alderman’s Green Primary School in Coventry is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in their learning during 37 hours per week across 39 weeks per year. The role offers a pro rata salary of £22,574 depending on experience.

Ideally the applicant will hold a Teaching Assistant qualification and/or experience with children with additional needs. Full training and safeguarding checks will be provided and support will be available to develop in this role.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold a Teaching Assistant qualification and/or experience working with children with additional needs.
• Knowledge or experience of supporting children with SEMH needs, Autism, or Communication and Interaction difficulties would be advantageous.
• Full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support children in their learning and activities within the classroom.
• Assist teachers with planned activities and resources to help pupils access learning.
• Contribute to an inclusive, nurturing environment that supports every child’s development.
