PK Education seeks a committed 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a SEND school in Coventry. The role runs 8:30am–3:30pm during term time, starting ASAP for the whole academic year. The successful candidate will support students across the curriculum, fostering progress in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and meaningful learning.
  • Support pupils with reading, writing, and classwork.
  • Lead and deliver targeted interventions to support development.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to provide personalised support.
  • Assist with behaviour management in a nurturing and positive way.
  • Observe pupils and contribute to learning records.
  • Develop curriculum knowledge as the school grows.
