Job summary

Enable in Ayr, South Ayrshire is seeking Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to join an award-winning social care charity. Various contracts available ranging between 16 to 36 hours; female only role.

You will support individuals to achieve their goals and outcomes, assisting with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support while helping expand their social networks. We build bespoke teams around each person, prioritising safety, wellbeing and aspirations.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful relationships with the people we support.
• Commitment to work with individuals through their personal support plans to help them achieve goals and outcomes.
• A positive and flexible outlook to your work, and the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support as required.
• Supporting people to expand their social networks and connections.
• Contributing to a bespoke team approach around each person to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
