Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team in South East England. You will support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, delivering personalised care plans and helping clients achieve independence and social inclusion.

We offer a casual contract with flexible hours and a comprehensive benefits package including mileage allowance and professional development. Travel across Essex is required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about providing a high level of care to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Empathetic approach.
• Willing to provide personal care.
• Proactive and able to work on your own initiative.
• Flexible to meet service needs.

• Previous care industry experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a personalised plan to support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Provide practical, emotional and social support to help clients achieve outcomes.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and eating and drinking.
• Support travel across Essex for training, other centres, and community work.
• Promote independence and social inclusion.
