Job summary

Hartsholme Academy in Lincoln is seeking a HLTA to plan and deliver a range of learning activities, supporting pupils across classes and groups. You will work 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 days, on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027, with salary scaled to Scale 5 (Pts 12–15) and pro-rata pay.

The ideal candidate will hold the DFE Teaching Assistants Induction Programme or NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants, or an equivalent qualification with GCSEs in English and Maths.

Qualifications

• Completion of DFE Teaching Assistants Induction Programme or equivalent
• NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification/experience
• GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities suitable to children's needs
• Ensure learning activities occur in a positive atmosphere and meet objectives
• Support pupils with social integration and collaborative learning
• Monitor and assess progress and report achievements to support development
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately
