Job summary

Hartsholme Academy in Lincoln is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant Level 1 to support a pupil or small groups. This temporary role runs 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 days, with a salary scale of 25,614 FTE and an actual pro-rata of 19,158.

Start date is ASAP, with interviews to be confirmed. You will work closely with a pupil to enable full curriculum access, building a supportive, trusting relationship.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience in an educational setting is essential; SEND experience valued.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patient, kind and organised.

Responsibilities

• Develop 1:1 or group support tailored to pupil needs.
• Implement planned learning activities and monitor progress.
• Assist with personal care programmes (hygiene, toileting, eating, drinking).
• Plan and provide practical assistance for mobility and equipment.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns.
