Voyage Care is seeking a compassionate Female* Support Worker in Temple Normanton to help people gain more independence in daily living. You will join a dynamic team, supporting with personal care, life skills, and community access, including social activities and outings.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain independence in daily life and learn new life skills.
• Assist with personal care and encourage access to local communities and social activities.
• Support people in daily routines and accompany them on outings to local bars, cinemas or events.
• Promote confidence and independence to reach personal goals such as cooking meals or holidays.
