Job summary

NZCL is seeking energetic part-time Support Workers to help people in their own homes as part of Nelson Residential Services. You will support individuals with daily activities, meals, personal care, and life skills, working in a team that provides 24/7 support with possible sleepover payments.

Ideal candidates have a passion for helping others; healthcare experience is preferred. A full driver’s license is essential, and eligibility to work in NZ is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Full driver's license essential.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and rosters.

Responsibilities

• Support people with various aspects of daily life.
• Assist with activities such as swimming, personal care, meals, household tasks, and life skills.
• Work as part of a team providing 24/7 support with potential sleepover payments on some rosters.
