NZCL is seeking energetic part-time Support Workers to help people in their own homes as part of Nelson Residential Services. You will support individuals with daily activities, meals, personal care, and life skills, working in a team that provides 24/7 support with possible sleepover payments.

Ideal candidates have a passion for helping others; healthcare experience is preferred. A full driver’s license is essential, and eligibility to work in NZ is required.

We are looking for permanent Part-Time Support Workers for our Nelson Residential Services.

This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. - The list is endless! Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.

• People who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with disabilities and challenges behaviours.
• Full driver's license is essential.
• Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
