Job summary

Lancashire County Council is recruiting for a Support Worker to assist adults with disabilities in their own homes within West Lancashire District. The role includes personal care, community activities, and daily living support, with 24-hour service requirements including sleep-in duties and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults who have a learning disability desirable; training funded if needed.
• NVQ Level 3 / QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care to be completed within two years (where applicable).

• Support individuals to access opportunities in home or community settings.
• Maintain dignity and respect and person-centred care.
