Job summary

Cumberland Council in Carlisle is seeking a Community Support Worker to help adults with disabilities and mental health needs live independently. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks, and encourage autonomy on a permanent basis. Sleep-in shifts also available with additional overnight pay.

• DBS check required with Enhanced DBS and Adults Barred List
• Regulated activity with adults information

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities and mental health needs to live independently
• Help develop life skills, build routines and stay connected to the community
• Provide emotional support and assist with personal care and daily tasks
• Assist with medication where required and encourage independence
• Support across daytime and sleep-in shifts with enhanced pay for nights
