Ideal candidates are calm, patient, and resilient with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. Experience with SEN is desirable, and an Enhanced DBS is required or willingness to obtain one. Term-time-only, Sep start.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN, complex needs, or vulnerable children/adults is desirable.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach in challenging situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to thrive.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex learning needs.
• Support children with PMLD and MLD.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines while maintaining dignity.
• Adapt and deliver learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Work with teachers, therapists and families to support holistic pupil development.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
