Job summary

Swanton Care in Wales is seeking Support Workers for roles in Llandybie, Ammanford, to help people live in their own homes and participate in the local community. You will provide practical and emotional support to empower individuals to pursue goals within personalised support plans, with 24/7 coverage and a respectful, dignified approach.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid UK driving licence
Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care is preferred but all training will be provided
1:1 support
Lone working and team-working

Responsibilities

Provide practical and emotional support to help people achieve goals within their individual support plans
Promote health and well-being in an inclusive, person-centred way
Assist with housekeeping, shopping and basic personal care tasks
Complete required records and documents accurately and on time
Support each person on a 1-to-1 basis and work both independently and with others
Be enthusiastic, compassionate and respectful of people's dignity
Training will be provided to support individuals with various needs
