Job summary

Midway Care Group is recruiting for a Support Worker (Days) in Redditch to help people live more independently and with dignity. You will support with daily living tasks, build relationships, and participate in person-centered care plans within the community and residents’ homes.

The role offers flexibility, paid training, and opportunities for funded qualifications. All applicants undergo screening and DBS checks. Travel is fully expensed for onboarding.

• Desire to work with people and make a difference in their daily lives.
• Experience in care or willingness to care for people.
• Fully flexible with being available all weekdays and weekends.
• Willing to help with personal care tasks.
• Interest in future career paths and funded qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, staff and the local community.
• Encourage choices respecting the rights of people with a learning disability.
• Participate in and assist with defined care plans to promote active daily living.
