Job summary

Midway Care Group is expanding its Supported Living and Residential care services for adults with learning disabilities across the Midlands. We offer pay above the National Living Wage, with potential increases via an hours incentive programme, plus funded mandatory and additional training.

A full UK driving licence and two years of driving experience are preferred. On-site roles require flexibility across weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to work with people with learning disabilities.
• Full UK driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in keeping with the rights of people with a Learning Disability.
• Participate in and assist with defined care plans encouraging individuals to take an active role in daily living.
• Desire to work with people and make a difference in their daily lives.
• Flexibility to work across all weekdays and weekends.
• Assist with daily activities, including support at home and in the local area.
• Help people who need personal care.
• Demonstrate morals, ethical standards and dignity in care.
• Interest in future career paths into junior, middle, and senior leadership roles.
• Willingness to self-develop with fully funded qualifications.

  For this role we require candidates with a full UK drivers licence and a minimum of 2 years driving experience., I have a desire to work with people and make a difference in their daily lives.
• I have experience of working within care or I have the desire and values to care for people.
• I am fully flexible with being helping people over all weekdays and weekends.
• I want to participate with daily activities, which may include support in their home and within the local area.
• I am happy to help people that need personal care.
• I have morals, ethical standards, and a desire to work with dignity.

• All Applicants will be taken through a Telephone Screening Interview with our Talent Resourcing Advisors and a Competency Based Interview with the relevant Locality Manager
• All Candidates will be subject to our Onboarding Checks which include, but not limited to, RTW, Enhanced DBS and reference checks.
• All New Team Members will have a First Day Induction Training held at our Office in Acocks Green, (travel is fully expensed on the day).
