Job summary

Aspire People seeks a confident Behaviour Management Specialist to join a Rhondda Cynon Taf secondary school on a full-time, immediate-start basis.

You will supervise students in an alternative curriculum, deliver pre-planned lessons, and build positive relationships to promote engagement and wellbeing for learners.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students within an alternative curriculum setting.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities across a range of subjects.
• Build positive relationships with students and encourage engagement in learning.
• Manage challenging behaviour effectively using a proactive approach.
• Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support student progress and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, structured and positive learning environment.
